Spam and chips
Saturday, October 15th, 2005It’s been a while, for a number of reasons. One of the less personal ones was that the blog has been getting serverly comment spammed and until i got round to working out an automated way to block it (thanks Kitteh) I didn’t want to give them another target, that sort of thing is very annoying. In fact it made me annoyed to just visit my own site. Hopefully the new tools i have should halt it.
I gather we have google to thank for it, something to do with the way it ranks pages. Not totally sure to be honest oh well.
