Escaping

Saturday, April 30th, 2005

So it seems news of this blog has escaped into the free world. Knew it would happen sometime. Hello people. Wipe your feet.

Time for a post.

Friday, April 29th, 2005

Guess its time for a personal post.

It’s 12:30 am end of another long, lonely Friday night. Spent so many of these over the last 5 years that I can’t count. Most of the time I don’t mind, it doesn’t get me down. I should say didn’t used to get me down.

Thing is, the last four months I have known what I am missing, I have had somewhere I would rather be, had someone I would rather be with, rather than here, on my own. So if you haven’t guessed, tonight I am in a funk.

Annoyed with myself for:

  • allowing my own downer to fall on others
  • letting myself take it out on the one I care about most
  • taking everything so seriously
  • being a melodramatic ass for writing this.
  • I’m sorry, and I don’t care who knows.

Kevin Smith should be honored, he gets the first external link on my sidebar, bet he’s so proud.

    Quicky trailer note

    Wednesday, April 27th, 2005

Serenity trailer is out here. For those not in the nerdy-know that would be Firefly movies, made but the creator of Buffy.

    Week in review

    Monday, April 25th, 2005

Firstly, I know, I know. I should write more often. Secondly she was right, GoDaddy is rubbish hosting, twice this week I tried to get here to post and it wasn’t found.

Tuesday - way too long ago for me to remember!

Wednesday - I purchased the ticket, I’m going to Melbourne baby! June 15 th - 29 th 2005. Expect self combustion or possible critical mass.

Thursday - Mel C has the flu, can’t sing (careful!) and the concert was canceled and moved to May the sum’ th.

Friday - Morning spent at banks, filling out forms and such.

Saturday - Morning spent at banks, moving money about with my brother. The nipped down the market for a DVD. Guy down there sells the ones that are coming out on the next Monday on the Saturday before since his stall isn’t there till the Friday.. if you see what I mean. Blade 3. Mucho tongue in cheek swordplay ensues.

Sunday - Had a wonderful nights sleep last night, had a productive day of housework, talking and GTA:SA. Discovered there is at least one thing i like more than strawberry nesquik. Also learnt you can have nesquik hot… not going to try that yet.. maybe in a couple of months :p.

Next week… No idea, it’s way to late to remeber.

    Week/day/night ahead

    Monday, April 18th, 2005

This week I’m to buy the ticket and also go with my brother to a Melanie C concert at Shepards Bush Empire (i think thats where it is). She wouldn’t be my choice to go see, I been once before with him and she put on a good show, but I was in fact more impressed with the support band (Liko).

I’m finding mornings difficult. In my head I’m supposed to get up and get on, then have lunchtime free to talk to her. Trouble is I find I’m staying up later and later, its 3am now, and I’m someone who can sleep for a long time. I’m not sure if I “need” 8 hours or what, I tend to feel tired quite a bit of the time. I have done for years. When I was college I used to go 36, 48 hours without sleep at times and not really feel any different than when I woke up. Tired all the time.

Perhaps it is because I have never been a regular sleep, never had a bed time as it were. Now is not the time to start that is for sure. To much going on on too many levels.

Hopefully I can get up and get into town in the morning, heh, its the morning already. maybe I should just stay up the six hours… nah :D. Seen too many dawns from the wrong side the last 5 years, that is something that should change.

    GTA

    Monday, April 18th, 2005

I’m a fan of Grand Theft Auto, like most people. This is old news, but really I’m posting this here so I can find the link easily again for myself should I need it :D. Rockstar have got GTA and GTA2 available for free legal download from their website at Rockstar Classics. This is a goodthing®.

    Woo! New wombat.

New week, new wombat, new worries.

    Time Travel

    Sunday, April 10th, 2005

Doh, been very rubbish in writing recently so today we time travel into the past and future.

Past - Taken and failed ADI theory once more. Fallen further in love with Maria. Watched Hero (its a bit over the top for me). Played Splinter Cell 3 (damn good game). Endured a cold and put my back out again.

Future - This week I have a busy Monday ahead, with hopefully something to show for it at the end. Dental checkup on Thursday (not looking forward to that at all).

    Mood - happy
Music - Jakatta - American Dreams
    Game - Splinter Cell 3
    Movie - High Fidelity
