Richard Linklater the director of Slackers and Dazed and Confused is doing a movie based on a book by Philip K. Dick, A Scanner Darkly. Most interestingly is that it seems to be some form of filmed, cell shaded look. Linklater actually did it before in Waking Life. You can see the teaser for A Scanner Darkly here.
Well it’s been a few days. Went up to Lincolnshire on Saturday after picking up Caroline at the station, with her in the car the trip was a little more interesting than perhaps normal :D. It does take 4.. 4 1/2 hours :D. Went up to see mum and for a family lunch on Sunday. My aunt was cooking and she as always she did one hell of a feast. Turkey, bacon roll, sausages, mash potato, roast potato, potato gratin, brocoli, carrots, peas, sprouts, white sauce and gravy. Really it was quite something.
So that was the food, the company was excellent of course. Saw Victoria for the first time in at least 2 years and had a proper conversation with her fiancee for the first time. He’s nice and his mum was there too and she was also nice :D. Yes I know, I’m saying everyone was nice, well they were!
So that was Sunday, Monday was a bit odd, woke on the sofa bed late and felt rubbish. had lunch with mum then about 4:30 we set off down south, dropping mum off at work on the way. Got back here around 10 I think.
Today I booked my fourth attempt at the theory test for 8th April, spoke with the love of my life for a long time and that was wonderful. I had so missed talking to her. I’m not the easiest person to talk to, but somehow she manages. Today is a good day (at least right now :D).
More like a piece of art than a game Gridgame is quite mesmerising.

Seems like spring has sprung here, last two days have been very warm and sunny. Today I even opened the windows and managed to swap out the stale winter air for some nice fresh stuff :D. Walking to the shop the air was filled with the sound of hoovering and industrious spring cleaning.

I’m one of those weird people who loves all the Star Wars movies, so yes i have hurried about and managed to see the Episode III trailer, and yes it does look fab, brill, and other 80’s words.
This is what the prequels were all about, building to this film. Yes it’s time for me to get stupidly excited about a film again. ITS STAR WARS BABY!
